About John Softich.

Born and raised in Anaconda, MT. After graduation from high school, I attended Montana State University majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science and Physics. In my free time I enjoy fly-fishing, wood working, travelling with my wife (mostly to sporting events).

Here are some things that I enjoy
• Cooking, especially Italian.
• Collecting and consuming Scotch and Bourbon.
• Watching baseball and football at all levels.
• Looking at new houses as they're built and keeping up on home building tech and best practices.

Professionally, I have worked in FinTech, Data, and InsureTech industries. I have led or managed the majority of IT functions including data center infrastructure management, networking, Helpdesk, Software Engineering, Project Management, and DevOps. While all areas provide unique challenges and rewards, my preference is Software Engineering and DevOps.
